AETR
European Agreement on the Work of Vehicle Crews in Road Transport. This agreement defines, for example, the age or professional requirements for the crews, but above all the maximum driving time and the frequency of mandatory breaks during the journey. Taking breaks is PROHIBITED on the premises of Škoda Auto Kvasiny and it is necessary to leave the plant after unloading/loading.
BELADEPLAN
Usually a hand-filled graphic representation of the consignment on the loading area, according to the destination unloading positions (warehouses). In short, BELADEPLAN can be used to determine in which part of the loading area the material for a particular warehouse is located. If LKW unloads at 3 or more folders, the driver is obliged to present the completed BELADEPLAN.
CMR
Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Road Transport.
The CMR sheet serves as a contract of carriage. It serves to protect the interests of all parties involved in the transportation and is the most important document in the case of a lawsuit. CMR sheets contain information about the goods, carrier, shipper, consignee and conditions of transport. During loading, the CMR is confirmed by the consignor, then confirmed by the carrier and by the consignee when unloading. If differences are found during delivery, this fact must be recorded in the CMR sheet.
CMRs for the supply of material are confirmed in ŠA Kvasiny during the check-out at the LKW RECEPTION or at some special warehouses. If you load empty containers, it is necessary to fill in your own CMR before the check-out, which will be confirmed by the reception staff. Škoda Auto a.s. does not provide or issue CMR sheets."
CUSTOMS
Customs duty when moving goods across EU borders.
CUSTOMS DECLARATION (CUSTOMS DUTY)
In the case of importing goods from countries outside the EU, customs clearance is required. If there is a risk that your shipment contains goods necessary for customs clearance, you will be forwarded to customs declaration at the check-in. The customs declaration counter is located in the same hall.
DELIVERY NOTE
A document containing part numbers, quantities and types of packaging. On the basis of this document, the delivery is checked in the warehouses.
DEMURRAGE
If you stay in the race longer than the set timeslot, the forwarding company is entitled to claim reimbursement of the demurrage. Only freight forwarders with a contract with Škoda Auto a.s. or Volkswagen AG are entitled to the demurrage. You lose the right to a demurrage in the case of late arrival or violation of the rules.
DISPATCHER
Truck reception worker.
EDL
External logistics areas operated by an external service provider. In the case of Škoda Auto Kvasiny, the EDL is located on the premises of M. Preymesser Logistika, the first left turn after leaving the village of Lipovka in the direction of Rychnov nad Kněžnou.
ELPO
Shipping note for empty packaging. According this document will be loaded in stock. You will receive ELPO at the truck reception at the check-in. At the loading position, you hand it over to the warehouse operator, who will load the empty packaging according to this document. Based on this document, a FRACHTBRIEF (FB) is issued at check-out.
ENTRY CARD
A card allowing you to pass through the turnstile and enter the plant. The card will be issued to truck drivers by the security service upon presentation of the ID card, vehicle registration certificate and shipment documentation.
FAHRTENSCHEIN (FS)
Extract from the clearance process from the LKW CONTROL system. FS contains a list of visited warehouses, pallet quantities and times. Carriers can download it via SYNCRO SUPPLY.
FBU
Full Built Units - finished cars.
FBU TRANSPORTER
A truck designed for transporting FBUs (finished cars).
FRACHTBRIEF (FB)
Packaging Shipping Note - Frachtbrief (FB). If you load empty packaging in the plant, you will be received a FB at the check-out. FB is printed carbon paper with all the important information in 5 copies. By your signater you will confirm its accuracy and returns the last copy to the dispatcher. Prepare the green copy for the exit through the gate.
ID NUMBER
A unique 15-digit number used to identify your timeslot. This number will be given to you by your dispatcher before arriving at the plant. If you do not have it, you must contact your forwarder and ask for it. You will not be checked in without ID number.
LADELISTE
A loading note, according to which the packaging will be loaded in the packaging warehouse. You will receive it at the check-in. At the loading position, you will hand it over to the warehouse operator, who will load the empty packaging according to this document. On the basis of this document, you will be issued a FRACHTBRIEF (FB) at the check-out.
LAUFZETTEL (LF)
Freight vehicle waybill. This form must be completed and handed over to the dispatcher together with other documentation at the check-in. By signing, you confirm the correctness of the filled data, familiarization with the rules, including the back page, and you give your consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of clearance process. During the whole clearance process, LF travels with you and warehouses write there any differences.
LKW
Shortcut of the German word Lastkraftwagen - truck.
LKW CONTROL
System for truck control in the plant and timeslots scheduling. Freight forwarders books time slots for LKW CONTROL via the SYNCRO SUPPLY forwarding website.
OUTDOOR TRUCK PARKING
A parking lot designed for parking trucks during the check-in. Based on the entrance to this parking lot, the correct arrival at the timeslot is evaluated. Taking a Lawful Break (AETR) is prohibited in this park lot.
PLO
Operative Logistics - Škoda Auto Department, which is responsible for truck management, packaging management and fining of freight forwarders.
PUFFER
Holding position for LKW. These are places near the unloading positions in case the unloading points are not free. Their purpose is also to free up the outdoor parking lot for trucks and to speed up clearance process and shortening travel times.
REFRESHMENTS
A coffee and snack vending machine is available in the LKW reception building.
SECURITY SERVICE
Security servie employees operate the entrance gates, issue access cards, deal with claims and supervise traffic regulations and general order.
Sprcha
The driver's shower is located in the LKW RECEPTION building. The path to it is marked with directional signs with a shower icon. Ask at the TRUCK RECEPTION for the shower key and they will gladly give it to you in exchange for the truck keys. Replacing them with truck keys is used to prevent the loss of the shower key.
SYNCRO SUPPLY
Web-based system for booking timeslots for Škoda Auto a.s. plants. The system is available to freight forwarders with a contract with Škoda Auto a.s. or Volkswagen AG.
TELEMATICS
Or a telematics device. Practically a smartphone that you will receive at the check-in. The phone shows you the instructions to follow. By taking over the transfer, you assume responsibility for the telematics and it is your responsibility to return it at the check-out. An alternative to telematics is the Truck App on your personal or business phone.
TIME SLOT
Timslot of landing. You can register for the timeslot max. 60 minutes in advance (it depends on parking entrance). In case of earlier arrive, your company is fined 26 €. Each timeslot has an unique 15-digit identification number (ID), which you must know during the check-in. The dispatcher of your forwarding company requests a timeslot via the SYNCROSUPPLY reservation system (you need to be a contractual partner of the ŠA) or via email LKWcontrolKvasiny@skoda-auto.cz.
TOILET - WC
A toilet for the driver is available in the truck reception building and is marked with signs. We ask you to keep order.
TRUCK APP
SyncroSupply Truck. Mobile application in the driver's private or business smartphone. Like TELEMATICS, it shows the instructions that are MUST be followed. Access to the application is established for drivers by an employer with a valid contract with Škoda Auto a.s. or Volkswagen AG.
TRUCK RECEPTION
A control point where you have to report with all the documentation for the shipment and which is also the truck movement control center. After the unloading / loading is complete, you return to this place. Truck reception is located in the 1st Gate Building, 40 m away from the outdoor parking lot for trucks.
UNLOADING RAM
An unloading point with a floor at the height of the floor of the loading area of the semi-trailer.
WAREHOUSE
From the point of view of truck control, it is an unloading or loading position.
